Real-time Check Verification

Our Real-time Check Verification program encompasses two services:

Level 1: We can tell you as of that moment whether there are enough funds in your customer’s checking account at that time to cover the amount you’re inquiring about.

Level 2: We can tell you the current status of that checking account as of the opening of that banking business day.

The two services combined provide excellent real-time check verification coverage. Between the two, there is no higher level of verification on the market today. If you attempt verification, and the account you’re trying to verify isn’t in one of these two networks, then we won’t charge you for that verification attempt. So what do you have to lose?

Special Features

The Level 1 service is easy to describe: is there enough money in that account to cover that item at the time of inquiry? It’s a “yes” or “no” response. Level 2, however, provides multiple responses

• Does the account exist?
• Is the account open?
• Is the account closed?
• Is the account in an NSF balance?
• Is the account in a positive balance?
• Is there a “stop payment” already placed against that item?
• Can that account accept electronic debits?
• And more

This service can be used with any of our solutions like Virtual Terminal or integrated directly into your web site or into any other proprietary system you use. This is a real-time response product, so the most effective integration is achieved by integrating with our Payment Gateway via our API, but we can accept transactions through a Batch Process if you wish.

When combined with our Negative and Positive check verification service, Real-time Verification will ensure you have the most powerful check verification program available on the market today
