Included in the Payments Gateway is axcess to the National Check Network (NCN). Currently hundreds of collection agencies, ACH Processors and Financial Institutions contribute to along with thousands of retail, gaming and on-line merchants contribute to the NCN database. NCN is an inexpensive, high volume check verification/conversion capture service with all the advantages of a strong regional and national database. NCN enables an agency or ACH Processor to take advantage of growing electronic check products, and allows them to gain the competitive edge with their clients.

Currently housed in the NCN database are:

• Positive Files to over 138 Million Accounts
• Negative Files to over 24 Million Accounts

Average Number of Transaction per Day 510,000
NCN recognizes 78% of all check writer accounts - greatest likelihood NCN "knows" your customer

Over 250 Check Collection Agencies contribute information from over 120,000 merchants.

NCN returns one of three messages:

• Authorization – accept check
• Decline Check – outstanding returned
• check in the database
• Unkown- no record of the client ( normally means either this is a new account or invalid account)
